weekending....

I had a long weekend... I took Monday off of work & I have Wednesday off as well because I had to use days or we lose them where I work. We have all next week off of work for the holidays which is really nice.

 

I was at the studio on Friday night & I had a friend passing through on the way to Florida with her horse so I met her late Friday night real quick to settle her horse in over night.

 

Saturday was an engagement session for a girl I grew up with! I have the photos here for you as well. Saturday night the guys played downtown so we had a good night out. It was nice to all be back together like family.

 

Sunday my friend Aaron had his piano Christmas concerts, however I don't have those photos done yet.... working quickly! We also finally got our Christmas tree up in our house. That has been a bit of a struggle so I am happy to have it up finally. I will try to get some pictures of it tonight.

 

I spent yesterday running around, riding horses & editing photos!! Crazy this time of year!

 

corey smith concert....

oh Monday you are back again! not particularly thrilled with Monday but you know. most of my weekend was uneventful with the exception on Friday night!   as sick as I may have been all week & weekend I wasn't about to turn down all access passes to Corey Smith on Friday night so that's what happened. :) we had a blast!! it was so much fun & he is so great live!
as for the rest of my weekend it was fairly quiet.. I think I did at least 7 or 8 loads of horse laundry over the weekend & worked on feeling better... finally took my mom out for sushi Saturday night for her birthday. better late than never I suppose!   Corey Smith photos :)  

 

 

 

oh monday...

I hate Monday's. this weekend was perfect. and as far as I was concerned I considered my weekend Thursday - Sunday this week.
more or less because the guys played Thursday Night Live on Thursday and I took a half day for it.
work on Friday wasn't too bad & their Friday night gig started late because of the bad storm we had rolling through.
Saturday night went well too.
it was a weekend full of late nights & live music.
Sunday was spent in the sun in the pool with friends :)

oh hey friday....august.... what?!

oh happy friday!!!

I have been so looking forward to friday for the main reason that this week has just been not so great. however... can you believe it is august?!! where did the time go?! I am a bit sad by all of this because that means it is that much closer to winter.
anyway. it is Friday so away we go...   1. last night... last night I went down to Parlay because the guys were playing. I usually don't ever go out downtown during the week because of work but I decided I was going since it has been such a crappy week. it ended up being a pretty good decision :)   2. coaching I have a good friend from cali coming in this weekend to coach & teach lessons. I only get to see him a few times a year so I am really excited to hang out with him & for every one to get some good lessons & learning in this weekend. Jeremy is the best no doubt.   3. music so you guys may or may not know... more than likely don't, music was pretty much my entire life. when I say that I mean I lived it from when I was a small child all the way through my first semester of college. where I went to college didn't have a great music program so I drifted & gave it up. recently I have found my way back a bit & have realized how much I missed it. I am starting to sing again a bit but it is definitely taking its time. as much as my heart has been wrecked in the past week I guess I have to thank the boy who wrecked it because he was the one who helped me find my way back to my passion for music.   4. ponies other than the clinic this weekend the ponies have been doing well! looking forward to the last few shows we have coming up for the year. two more and then championships in October! it's crazy to think our year has gone by so quickly!   5. photography my photography was going like crazy for the month of july!! all I did was photograph which has been great!!! I just wrapped up the dance photos I did from the dance competition on sunday! here are a few of those for your lovely friday! I was impressed with how they came out... I had the worse lighting possible & people moving very quickly which means horrible blurring.

weekend recap!

this weekend was a tad bit crazy & busy!

we had super nice weather on Friday & Saturday!

yesterday was a bust as we currently have ice & a bit of snow on the ground :(
Friday evening I had a nice quiet night of nothing really. it was rather enjoyable.
Saturday morning I went to the barn and then did a shoot for a lady at the barn.

I also went to the camera store on Saturday which could have been super bad! however, I didn't buy anything, but I did find this lens that I want really bad!

Saturday night was spent at redmonds with the guys. the whole band was playing. so I hung out with them & shot some photos for them as well :)
