show weekend success!

this weekend was a long & exhausting one filled with 4am mornings. however on the flip side of that, it was a great weekend! everyone had fantastic rides, lots of winning ribbons & high score awards! rainy & cool sunday was about the only downside. the cool was fine once the down pour stopped.   here are some photos from the weekend :)  

gracie wanted to come to the show so bad so I told her she could come with me but she had to get up early...so she did... she was ready to go at 5:30 Saturday morning & had a blast all day!

& it's tuesday....

& so it is Tuesday... this weekend was a horse show weekend. it was hot & miserable but we had a fantastic show! lots of blue ribbons! actually all blue ribbons for cody, including a high score ribbon on Sunday! this weekend & yesterday included lots of migraines however because of the weather..   tomorrow I have my hair appointment.. still haven't made my mind up. I should probably really get on that today & figure out what I want to do. I really don't think I am going to go with the red. it seems a little too scary.   hmm how about some photos?!

the farm we are at is hosting Freedom Fest this weekend & they started decorating for it on Sunday. they are using our arena for it!

1. my neighborhood still looks like the photos below from the other day... & work is not much better.

 

2. speaking of the work parking lot, I fell yesterday morning & now both of my knees are black/blue & I have a huge gash in my hand.... waiting to see if my left knee is going to be okay since it is the knee I had surgery on before.

 

3. the baby pony got a big boy ribbon yesterday for national end of the year awards!

 

4. I actually got riley to sit on the couch with me last night & somewhat cuddle while watching the Olympics.... at least she looks like she kinda likes it below.

5. I get to spend most of my weekend working on my capstone paper for school!!! bring on april!! I am so ready to be done.

I didn't get to update Sunday but it was a crazy busy weekend with the horse show! it was probably one of the best shows in a long time!

I left on friday to go to a horse show up in ohio with my mom.

it was nice for just the two of us to go!

we had a fabulous time & I have officially completed my first intermediare 2 and grand prix's. it was pretty fantastic!
