florida & disney recap...

so I promised I would update about my trip to florida & disney! 

I didn't say a whole lot about it before I left but my best friend Jess lives in florida & works as a cook at disney! 

I saw her at Christmas one evening & I knew I wouldn't get to see her again for a while so I decided a trip to visit was in order. 

we had a great time & it was so much fun to come down to some warmer weather however, I am not looking forward to the cold that is coming this week at home!

moving on.

one of the hardest things for us to do is to know when it is time to move on.

this can be one of the hardest things we do.

unfortunately I had been having this feeling for two weeks now & yesterday I had had enough.

sometimes, it is hard to put feelings & emotions aside which in turn makes it even hard to realize when it is time to move on from a relationship.

after two weeks of questioning it, yesterday was it & I knew it needed to happen.

yes, relationships are a two way street but not everyone has figured out it is give & take. you shouldn't try to change someone but you have to learn that in a relationship there has to be give & take.

so with that said, I am moving on.

today is a new day.

I feel so blessed that I have the most awesome best friend ever, who even though she is miles away in florida at her awesome job at Disney, finds time to talk to me &  be there for me when ever I need her.

I feel so blessed that my mom has become more of a friend to me as I have grown up & being able to talk to her makes life so much easier.

I feel thankful & blessed today.

 



weekend shenanigans...

oh this weekend!!
I wouldn't say it was the most fun, but we made it kind of fun!
I went to go see runner runner. it was quite good & Justin Timberlake did a good job in the movie.
Saturday & Sunday were full of running around before leaving this week.
I went with my mom to ride Saturday morning before going to the tack shop to get some last minute things before we leave. we got a bunch done around the house before Alexa got there that afternoon. she had a fantastic lesson on her Cody boy & we came home & cooked dinner.
Sunday morning I went & helped Alexa with Cody. we came home & met up with my best friend Jess for lunch at that same Mexican restaurant! by the time I come home on Sunday, Jess will have moved & started her new adventure at Disney World so we needed to meet up because she is not sure when she can come home to visit for a while. After that Alexa & I spent the day running around & getting things done before we leave, since I am at work Monday & Tuesday this week & we leave early Wednesday morning! we had a great time & then it started to rain & storm pretty bad, luckily we got everything done!

now I have to get things packed because doesn't everyone wait until the last minute?
